Jolt Fibreglass Rods - Ain’t No Standard Fencing!

Jolt Fibreglass Rods - Ain’t No Standard Fencing!

Time and time again we hear of farmers discovering a game-changer for maximising their land’s potential. What are they up to?

Cell Farming!
The answer lies in smarter paddock management, and our Fiberglass Rods are the stars of the show. These Rods not only make splitting-up paddocks easier, they also come with a significant cost benefit. Imagine getting more out of your land with a simple, affordable tool—it's a no-brainer!

What is Cell Farming?
Dividing paddocks quickly and temporarily is known as Cell Farming. This simple process is an excellent solution for creating small grazing blocks.

The main reason farmers use Cell Farming is to significantly increase productivity. Essentially, you’ll achieve maximum yield from pasture with this smarter grazing system i.e. 1-day feed cycles. Running more animals per hectare is known to positively impact profitability - up to 60 percent in many cases.

At Jolt, we redefined the definition of Cell or Temporary Fencing when we introduced our Fibreglass Rods to the market. We knew they were tried-and-true in the horticultural industry for staking plants, so using rods in a fencing context was a smart move to help farmers maximise their profitability. It’s such a humble product yet can make an incredible impact to a farmer’s bottom line. Quality was a big factor too, and these rods offer superior strength with UV stable-lacquer coating.

When it comes to cell or mobile fencing, Jolt Fibreglass Rods as standards, along with Polywire or Electric Fence Tape are the must-haves.

Other uses for Fibreglass Rods include the effective fencing of waterways to protect livestock from your winter planting efforts and allow native species to thrive over summer.

How to use Fibreglass Rods:
It’s simple to install temporary fence posts! They are light and easy to handle. We recommend 5m spacings between posts.

STEP 1: Simply bang your Fibreglass Rods into the ground using a Jolt Driver Cap. Depending on ground moisture levels we recommend going 20cm into the ground.

STEP 2: Be sure to order Jolt Fibreglass Rod Clips. Depending on the animals you are fencing off, you can use one or more clips per post. Clips can be spaced at your own desired measurement along the rods, and we have 3 types available: Butterfly, Premium or Plastic. All work exceptionally well with the Fibreglass Rods.

STEP 3: Once the Clips are installed, run your wire, Fence Tape or Polywire through and you’re all set up! We carry excellent stock levels of Polywires and Fence Tapes in various sizes, all compatible with Jolt Fibreglass Rods.
