FAQ

  1. Where are your products made?
Most of the high-quality products at FarmShop are sourced from Europe. Some of our key partners include SaMASZ, Peecon, Carlotti, Fischer, Cashels and more.
  2. What’s the discount?
This will vary depending on the product, but with Jolt fencing equipment you’ll get a discount for buying in bulk. With machinery, our discounts are highly competitive because we remove the middleman offering the savings back to you.
  3. What’s the warranty?
Warranties will vary according to the machine, generally from 1 year to 6 years. But as a rule of thumb, most of our automation warranties cover any defects in manufacture and the main driveline. Worn parts are not covered. Warranties exist no further than those provided under the manufacturers or producers of the imported machinery. At the time of purchase we can discuss the details.
  4. What are typical lead times?
If we have it in stock – you can expect delivery ASAP and we will communicate lead times with you at the time of purchase. Find out more about our delivery details here. We strongly recommend you plan ahead for machinery orders. If we do not have something in stock, please allow up to 8 months. Talk to us early about your requirements or indent orders.
  5. What is direct imports?
Direct importing is our way to pass on value for money straight to you. Our products are sourced directly from the manufacturer, wiping out unnecessary ‘middleman’ costs – keeping the process direct from factory to farm. Wherever possible, FarmShop are coordinating shipments from neighbouring manufacturers to fill a container and save on ocean freight charges.
  6. If I’m selling my farm, can you help sell my gear?
For the Northland community, we’re happy to value gear and/or sell on your behalf. Talk to us to find out more. Check out our current used machinery as an example.
  7. What makes your products better?
Along with value for money, our products and machinery have been well-researched and often tailored for the NZ farming environment. We pride ourselves on working with leading worldwide brands, who have proven reputations for quality and length of time in the market.
  8. Are you negotiable on machinery?
Yes. We will always do our best to match your needs against budget, or suggest different solutions to assist.
  9. Do you stock spare parts?
Yes, we have plenty of spare parts for our imported brands of machinery. In most cases, we can get them to you within 24 hours. As an example, for SaMASZ mowers we hold a good inventory of the typical wear parts e.g. knives, modules, knife holders, skid/wear plates.
  10. How long does your courier take?
For North Island orders – allow 2-3 days. For South Island – allow 2-4 days.
